Weepr 1.5 is an Adobe AIR application that allows you to create and share web beats. It’s kind of like a mini drum machine but in AIR and for the web.

Creating beats is very simple just click and play and in no time you can create some pretty cool loops. You can save a project file to your local machine and create a web widget for inclusion on your blog or MySpace and Facebook.

You have to register on the website to download the Weepr app but it is currently free to use.

Design eye

Nice clean design, I would like to see a bit more of an introduction when you first launch the app and the inclusion of some nice tooltips would benefit users.

Apart from that it’s nice to use and quick to get a result.

Technical eye

It is built using Adobe Flash with ActionScript 3".

In Summary

A nice tool for creating beats and loops however you can’t download them as audio files to your machine for inclusion into your projects or videos. None overly complicated UI means users can get to grips fast and the social sharing features are nice.

Worth the download to get hip with some beats.
