SocialAddict is yet another desktop integration of the many social services on the Internets today.
This AIR app is simply a handy interface for loading the mobile pages of your favourite services for easy access.
The following services are currently offered in SocialAddict:
i don’t use all of the services listed above, however I the app does little more than show a mobile in the internal browser window. The developer openly says that he has not used any of the available API’s from the services listed above.
If you are a heavy twitter user then this is not the app for you, you would be better seeing the “other options for AIR clients”;http://refreshingapps.com/showcase/tag/twitter.
If you are the type of person who is always switching between these services in your browser then I can see this being suited to you. The best thing is to give it a try, that’s the simplicity of AIR Install and try it out.
Slightly unrelated to AIR, the developer has also got it as a web based port so you could get it running in your browser sidebar.
Design eye
Not much on the design side here. The icons are clear, it would be good to see an indicator that shows what you are currently logged into. Other than that just a really simple plain AIR app.
Technical eye
SocialAddict was built using XHTML and JavaScript for Adobe AIR.
