Blokt is an addictive game built on Adobe AIR. The game concept is centered around removing the red block out of the maze of other blocks by sliding them out of the way.

This is a paid for application at $1.99 for the full 160 levels, however the trial gives you 10 levels to wet your appetite.

The game is simple to get started and the first level is more like a guide on what the game objective is and how you go about solving it. The same principle is used on video games for the likes of PS3 and XBox.

The design is catchy and well polished with clear iconography and hit areas. The full screen options works very well.

In Summary

A great little game that you can play anywhere thanks to Adobe AIR. Strangely addictive the game is simple easy to learn with a great UI.

I think the touch mode is for the touch-based devices where you don’t have the mouse showing (no use).

I kind of dislike the lack of tooltips though or text on buttons. Need to have either.
